About
I am an experienced youth coach currently residing in the South East London. As well as having a playing experience, I also have diverse experiences working in a team and being a team leader.
As mentioned I have played semi professional in the UK and had a brief professional career in Gibraltar playing for College Europa, my dream of pursuing a playing career was cut short due to injury.
Upon returning to the UK, I quickly shifted my passion into coaching youth football. I have been coaching at grassroots level for 5 years and have been very successful. I am currently coaching in South London for AFC Bermondsey and as a result of my success, I was recently offered to coach a well established Step 7 team in South East London, Fisher Football for the upcoming 2025/26 season. However, I am looking for a more challenging role and with the progression of women’s football I believe my experience and passion in developing young players would be suited for this role. This will also be a great career path for me and my ambition to continue furthering my knowledge.
I have an ‘Introduction to football coaching’ certificate, though I am currently working towards getting a UEFA C Licence. I also have a ‘Talent Identification certificate’, ‘First Aid in football’ as well as ‘Safeguarding Children In Football’. I recently completed a diploma in Sports Management which opened my eyes in player development more so because I am specialised in 1-2-1 and small groups player development.
I have developed all the necessary skills needed to do well in this role. I am hardworking, a quick learner and I am always eager to learn new skills. I am creative and respond well to challenges with a high level of commitment. I am confident when approaching people with good communication skills. I work well within a team and am also self-motivated. I find great pride in helping young people achieve their goals or objectives.
Again, I believe my diverse experiences and positive attitude sets me apart from the rest. I am committed to providing the highest standards of work. This would involve ensuring that students, staff and workload are dealt with accordingly, and in a professional manner that reflects the quality of the Academy. I am very optimistic of my abilities to communicate with a diverse mix of people, and to work as a reliable team member.
