Senior Childcare Manager – Children's Wraparound Company

Lewes BN7 1JP

Salary: £31,941.20 per year

Full-time/Permanent role covering school term-time plus 5 weeks in school holidays (Role includes 8 weeks of paid holiday during school holidays)

We are recruiting for Sussex's leading organisation in the childcare sector. They have developed over almost 20 years into the most trusted organisation in the region offering year-round wraparound care (breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, and holiday camps) for children and parents.

They truly value the time children spend in their provision and parents' needs to operate, and their activities revolve around one simple aim: to provide the highest possible quality in everything they do. This includes staffing, relationships with parents & children, and partnerships with schools.

As a Senior Childcare Manager you will manage a school setting and be independently responsible for the running of all provisions; delivering safe, planned, and fun activities to the children in your care. You will also have the independence to manage your team of staff and all stakeholder relationships, ensuring high performance and ongoing growth within your club.

The role involves all term-time weeks plus working 5 weeks of school holidays, meaning you will receive 8-weeks of non-contact/holiday time during the remaining school holiday periods

As a Senior Childcare Manager, you will ideally bring:

Experience of managing in a childcare environment, including training and developing others
Experience working in a busy and ever-changing environment where no day is the same
Strong communication skills and be comfortable managing a team of staff and developing external stakeholder relationships
A forward-thinking, proactive individual who can 'own' their work and solve both present and future problems
An interest and passion for childcare and child development
