Nursery Area Manager

Cheshire area

£45,000-£55,000 salary (dependent on experience and qualifications) plus £3k car allowance and paid mileage

We are delighted to be working with one of the largest Nursery organisations in the UK to find an experienced and successful Area Manager to support their teams and provisions across (initially) four Nursery venues in the Cheshire Area.

The role has scope to grow and you will report into and be supported directly by the Managing Director for the North region of the UK, who is incredibly passionate and dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to Outstanding childcare and education.

You will split your time between your nursery venues across the week with autonomy to manage your time where it is needed to support your Nursery Managers and their teams, which includes Deputy Managers and administration support staff. You will also benefit from having a Senior Nursery Manager in your region.

The main focus of this role will be to drive quality, grow occupancy, meet P&L and EBITDA targets, and ensure all staff are creating a safe and thriving environment for children and their families.

You will need:

A full and relevant level 3 (or above) early years childcare qualification
Comprehensive knowledge and experience managing Ofsted Outstanding settings and an ability to evidence how to improve and raise standards would be advantageous
A desire and motivation to remain close to the teams in provision
The ability to operate autonomously, be comfortable with responsibility, and take ownership
A passion for childcare and child development and making a difference to the community
